ORTHODONTICS

A beautiful smile is a large part of looking and feeling your best.

There are many ways of correcting crooked or malposed teeth. Moving teeth into the proper position can keep the teeth healthy for a life time.

There are usually many options available for the movement of teeth.

Removable appliances can work, they have little wires and springs to push and pull the teeth.

There are appliances to expand the roof of the mouth,  widening the arch and making more room for the teeth.

Metal, ceramic, or plastic brackets can be bonded to each tooth.  By using a space-age super flexible Nickel-titanium arch wire, the teeth will move with a gentle force, yet faster.

There is an "Invisalign" type in which a thin, clear plastic mold covers  the teeth and is changed every two or three weeks.

Orthodontic treatment can take from 6 months to 2 years, depending of difficulty and cooperation.
